Patricia's Story, from Cebu.

 Patricia, one of our Youth Member sponsored by HSCASM since 2018.

Patricia came to see Rebecca (when she was in Cebu for a visit) because she had no money

to buy school uniform, and the school was

starting soon. She was terrified of scolding and

humiliation. I asked her how much. It was only

$20! I passed her the money and that’s how our

friendship started.

Both her parents work far from home, she has

been looking after her 6 younger siblings in their

residence in the slums over 5 years.
